Downloading the Ingage App

The Ingage App is available on Windows, Mac and iOS, and is the only way to create and present your interactive Ingage Content.

Finding System Information on Mac

To find system information on a Mac computer:

  1. Click on the Apple Logo in the upper left corner of your screen

  2. In the drop down menu, select About this Mac

  3. Here you'll find the the macOS version (operating system) and Chip details (processor information)


Finding System Information on Windows

To find system information on a Windows device:

  1. Click Start

  2. Click Settings

  3. Click System

  4. Click About

  5. Here you'll find the Edition (operating system) and Processor information

Alternatively, in the Windows Search box, you can type in "info" and open System Information.

Ingage is not supported on ARM processor powered devices. Examples of ARM processors that are common to Windows include: Microsoft SQ1, Microsoft SQ2, Microsoft SQ3, Snapdragon 7c.


Finding System Information on iOS

To find system information on an iPhone/iPad device:

  1. Click on the Settings app icon

  2. In the menu, select General

  3. Select About at the top of the list of options.

  4. Here you'll find the iOS version (operating system) and the model name.


Downloading Ingage

If you set up your account via your Ingage welcome email, you will be prompted to download the application at the end of your account creation process. If you did not receive the email, or need to download the application on a new device, use the following guide.

To download the Ingage App:

  1. Select the application that suites the device you're on

    • Ingage for iPad

    • Ingage Desktop for Mac

    • Ingage Desktop for Windows

  2. Follow the instructions provided by the installer. If facing any issues on Desktop, continue below for download guides


Downloading Ingage Desktop for Mac

To download the Ingage App on your Mac:

  1. Click the macOS button. The installer file will be saved to your Downloads folder

  2. Locate the Presentations.zip file in your Downloads folder

  3. Double-click the Presentations.zip file to unzip and extract the installer
    Note: Your Mac may automatically unzip the file, skip to the next step

  4. The Ingage Desktop-x.y.z.dmg installer is displayed
    Note: x.y.z denotes the version number for the install

  5. Double-click on the Ingage Desktop-x.y.z.dmg file to open the app installer

  6. Click on the Ingage Desktop file and drag it into the Applications folder
    Note: Your Mac may prompt you to authenticate to complete the install

  7. Open the Applications folder

  8. Double-click on the Ingage Desktop app icon to open Ingage Presentations for Desktop

  9. On first launch of Ingage Desktop, macOS will prompt you to verify the security of the download
    Note: Applications not downloaded from the Apple App Store are checked for safety when you try to open them.

  10. Click the Open button to continue opening Ingage Desktop

Downloading Ingage Desktop for Windows

To download the Ingage App on your Windows device:

  1. Click the Windows button

  2. Locate the Presentations.zip file in your Downloads folder

  3. Find the Presentations.zip file and extract the contents of the ZIP file (right-click, Extract) Note: Your Windows PC may automatically unzip the file, skip to the next step

  4. The Ingage Desktop Setup x.y.z.exe installer is displayed
    Note: x.y.z denotes the version number for the install

  5. Double-click on the Ingage Desktop Setup x.y.z.exe file to open the app installer
    The a Windows protected your PC prompt will be displayed
    Note: This dialog is presented as part of the Windows security system. The message indicates that Microsoft is not familiar with the application being run. This is intended to intervene if a site or application has been identified as malicious, but also in this case, when the application is unknown to Microsoft.

  6. Click the More Info link

  7. A Windows protected your PC prompt will be displayed

  8. Click the Run anyway button, the Ingage Setup application will begin the installation process
