Updating the Ingage App

Take advantage of all the best Ingage has to offer by keeping your app up-to-date.

Ingage generally checks for updates automatically and will present you with the option to update when available. Below are notes on how to confirm app version and check for updates manually.


Confirming Current App Version on iPad

To confirm the current app version on iPad:

  1. From the Ingage Library, tap the gear icon in the upper right corner of your screen

  2. Find the app version in the bottom left panel of the screen


Confirming Current App Version on Mac

To confirm the current app version on Mac:

  1. With the Ingage app open, click on Ingage Desktop in the top left corner of your computer's menu bar

  2. Select About Ingage Desktop from the drop down

  3. A pop up will display the current app version


Confirming Current App Version on Windows

To confirm the current app version on Windows:

  1. With the Ingage app open, click on Ingage Desktop in the top left corner of your computer's menu bar

  2. Select About Ingage Desktop from the drop down

  3. A pop up will display the current app version


Manually Checking for Updates on iPad

To manually update the app on your iPad:

  1. Open the App Store.

  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen

  3. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All


Manually Checking for Updates on Mac

To manually update the app on Mac:

  1. With the Ingage app open, click on Ingage Desktop in the top left corner of your computer's menu bar

  2. Select Check for Updates from the drop down

  3. If an update is available the pop up message will read Update ready to install!

  4. Click the Install and Relaunch button

  5. The update will begin and Ingage will relaunch when the update is complete


Manually Checking for Updates on Windows

To manually update the app on Windows:

  1. With Ingage Desktop open click on the menu in the top left corner (3 horizontal lines)

  2. Click File

  3. Click Check for Updates

  4. If an update is available the pop up message will read Update ready to install!

  5. Click the Install and Relaunch button

  6. The update will begin and Ingage will relaunch when the update is complete
