Why am I not seeing user sessions in Analytics?

We recommend the best practices laid out below when utilizing the Analytics feature in Ingage. These can also assist you if you are not seeing your users sessions logged accurately.

  • Current app version: Confirm Ingage is always updated. This will ensure your Analytics feature is up to date as well, including any recent fixes.

  • Properly close presentations: After completing a presentation, return to the presentation library (by tapping "x" in the lower left corner or Esc). This ensures the system logs the session accurately and successfully.

  • Consistent connectivity: Routinely connect the devices you use Ingage with daily and open the app when connected to WiFi.

    • Session data is only stored for 5 days. Ensuring consistent connectivity prevents sessions data from being lost after 5 days of inactivity.

  • Inactivity Reminder: There is an in-app feature which will send you reminders when users have been inactive for a pre-determined time period. For directions enabling this feature consult this article.
