Creating new presentations is limited to Creators and Admins on an Ingage account. Editors, Creators, and Admins can edit content. If you think you should be able to create and/or edit content, please reach out to your account Admin to adjust your account permissions.
Creating a New Presentation
To create a new presentation:
- In the Ingage App click the green plus icon in the upper right corner
- Tap or double click the Theme you'd like to use in your presentation
Editing an Existing Presentation
To edit an existing presentation:
- In the Ingage App click the three dots in the lower right corner of the thumbnail for the presentation you'd like to edit
- In order to present or edit a presentation, it must first be downloaded, if Download is an option in the menu, click Download
- Once the presentation is downloaded, click the same three dot menu
- Click Edit to begin editing
Navigating the Storyboard
When editing an Ingage presentation, the Storyboard is your 100 yard view of the components of your presentation
Preview
Click the Play button in the upper right corner to Preview your work the way it would appear in the field
Click the X in the lower left corner of your Preview to return to the Storyboard
Title
The title of your presentation can be edited in-line at the top of the Storyboard by clicking into the section title field, if you're working on a new presentation this field will read Untitled Presentation
Sections
Click Add Section to add a new section to your presentation
When you have more than one section in a presentation, each of the section names will appear in bold all caps above the pages within that section
Section titles can be edited in-line by clicking into the Section title field
Hovering over a section title reveals a menu illustrated by two horizontal lines to the right of the section title: Click on these two lines and drag the Section title to reorder the sections in the presentation, right click on these two lines to reveal additional Section options (Copy, Cut, Delete, Hide)
Pages
Click and drag a Page to reorder the pages in a Section, or to move the page to a different Section
Right click a page to reveal additional Page options (Copy, Cut, Delete, Hide)
Double click on a page to begin editing
To add a Page to your presentation:
- Click the green plus button in any Section to add a page to your presentation
- Select from basic Page Layouts or click on one of the Template Pack titles in the left side bar to view additional Template Pages
- Select the page(s) you'd like to add to your presentation
- Click the green Add Page(s) in the upper right corner

Sharing Panel
In the upper right corner of the Storyboard is your Sharing Panel

All Pages Button
With this box checked, Viewers will see a grid icon in the lower right corner of the presentation that allows them to view all pages from a birds-eye-view, and navigate to a specific page in the presentation by clicking or tapping on the page's thumbnail
Import
This tool can be used if you have an existing presentation from a non-interactive presentation software that you would like to begin collecting analytics on in Ingage
Please note, uploading images, PDFs, Power Points, or Keynote Presentations will NOT upload all of the individual assets for further editing. It will simply upload each page as a flat, uneditable image
Open Presentation Tag
This tag will be used if you use the Open Presentation Action to access this presentation. Learn more about Open Presentation in the following article:

Editing a Page
Double click on a page to begin editing
Preview
Click the Play button in the upper right corner to Preview your work the way it would appear in the field
Click the X in the lower left corner of your Preview to return to the page
To Undo
Mac
Edit > Undo in the toolbar
or Command + Z on your keyboard
Windows
Click the left facing curved arrow above the canvas
or Ctrl +Z on your keyboard
At the top center of the screen is the Section Title, with arrows to either side, click the left facing arrow to edit the previous page, the right facing arrow edit the following page
When no components on the Canvas are selected, the following page settings can be manipulated in the Style Panel on the right sidebar:
Page Options
Page Name
The name listed in this field will be used when viewing analytics on the presentation
Swiping
Normal will allow the Viewer to swipe forward or backward in the presentation
Forwards Only will prevent the Viewer from swiping back to the previous page in the presentation
Backwards Only will prevent the Viewer from swiping forward to the next page in the presentation
No Swiping will prevent the Viewer from swiping forward to the next page or back to the previous page in the presentation
Navigation of the presentation using Section Titles or the All Pages button are not effected by these Swiping Settings, learn more about presentation navigation in the following article:
Presenting With Ingage
Lock Page
This option is only visible for Creators and Admins on your Ingage account
Selecting Lock Page will prevent Editors from making changes to this page when editing the presentation
Page Background
Change the background of the page by selecting a Color, Gradient, or Image
When you select a component on the Canvas, like an image, video, text box, etc. the tools to edit this component become visible in the Style Panel in the right side bar
Some sample content uses the Pinned setting to hold components in place, scroll to the bottom of the Style Panel and use the checkbox next to Pinned to pin or unpin an object
To add a component to the page, click the + plus button in the upper right corner and click on the component you'd like to add

Using Actions
Actions can be added to Text, Images, and Shapes to make the component clickable
To add an Action to a component:
- Click the component you'd like to add an Action to
- In the upper right corner of the right side bar, click Action to access the Action Panel
- Click the green Add Action button
- Click the Action you'd like to add
To edit an existing Action:
- Click the component whose Action you'd like to edit
- An orange pill shaped button will appear below the component, click this button to edit the Action
To delete an Action
- Click the component whose Action you'd like to edit
- In the upper right corner of the right side bar, click Action to access the Action Panel
- Click Delete Action
