You can open the report anytime from Analytics, or have it emailed to your sales managers every week so the numbers are waiting for them before Monday’s sales meeting.
Why Use the Adoption Report?
See who isn't presenting
Standard analytics show you activity from reps who are presenting. Reps with no activity simply don’t appear, so finding them meant pulling your user list and cross-referencing it by hand. The Adoption Report lists every rep, including those with zero activity, so you can spot the gap in seconds. For a team of 40 reps, that’s the difference between a quick glance and an afternoon in spreadsheets.
Get the numbers without pulling a report
Subscribe your sales managers to the weekly Adoption Analytics email, and the summary lands in their inbox every Sunday morning. They walk into Monday’s sales meeting already knowing who’s trending up, who’s trending down, and who needs a nudge. No logging in, filtering, or exporting required.
Focus on the team you manage
Larger organizations have managers and trainers responsible for specific locations or offices. The report breaks activity down by team, so each leader can drill into their own group and coach the reps they’re responsible for, without wading through the rest of the company.
Step 1: Set Up the Weekly Adoption Email (Admins)
Company administrators choose who receives the weekly Adoption Analytics email.
In the sidebar, under your company, click Manage Company.
Click the Analytics tab.
Find the Adoption Analytics email section.
Choose the users who should receive the weekly email summarizing your company’s adoption analytics.
Click Save changes.
Recipients receive the email every Sunday morning. To remove someone, return to the same screen, deselect them, and save.
Step 2: Open the Adoption Report
In the sidebar, expand Analytics.
Click Adoption.
Choose a date range. Last month is a good starting point: a full month gives you several weeks to compare, so trends and high and low weeks show up clearly. A single week shows activity but not a trend.
Don’t see Adoption under Analytics? The feature needs to be activated for your company. Contact Ingage Support and we’ll turn it on.
Step 3: Read the Report
The report reads top to bottom, from your whole company down to individual reps. Everything you can click opens a more detailed view.
Review the session totals. The top row of cards counts presenting sessions for the date range: the total, the weekly average, the high week, and the low week. Click any card to see sessions broken down by week and by team, with a count of reps on each team.
Read The Full Picture. This summary shows how many of your reps are active (for example, 3 of 50 reps, 6%), how many are trending down, and how many have zero activity. The “need a nudge” count combines reps who are trending down and reps with zero activity. Click a card to see the reps behind the number.
Trending down means a rep’s activity has dropped across the weeks in your date range, such as a strong first week followed by fewer sessions each week after.
Zero activity means the rep hasn’t run a presenting session in the date range.
Review your teams. Each team gets its own card with any callouts that need your attention, such as “40 of 43 need attention.” A card with nothing to call out stays empty to keep the report easy to scan.
Drill into a team. Click a team card. The report reloads with the same layout, showing only that team’s reps and numbers. Click back to return to the company view.
Review the rep lists. Reps with zero activity appear first, followed by reps with moderate to high activity, so the reps who need help are at the top.
Check the trend chart. At the bottom of the report, the trend chart shows each rep’s activity week over week. Use it to see exactly when a trending-down rep started to slow.
Step 4: Download or Print the Report
To download a CSV:
Select the reps you want to include, or select all reps.
Click CSV. The file saves to your downloads folder and includes only the reps you selected.
Tip: Deselect admins and content creators who run occasional sessions but aren’t sales reps. Their low activity isn’t a coaching issue, and leaving them out keeps your export focused.
To print the report:
Click Print. Your browser’s print dialog opens.
In Chrome, open More settings and check Background graphics. Without this, the trend lines won’t appear on the printout.
Click Print.
Print always includes the full report, regardless of which reps you selected.
The Sales Manager Experience
Recipients get the Adoption Analytics email every Sunday morning with a summary of your company’s adoption. It’s built to set up the week: a manager can open it before Monday’s sales meeting and know who to recognize and who to check in with.
Many managers bring the report into their weekly meeting and share it with reps. Most reps never see their own activity, so a quick look at who’s trending up and who’s trending down can start a useful conversation.
Key Details
The report counts presenting sessions, not presentation views.
Reports reflect the session activity recorded in Ingage for the date range you select.
Trends need more than one week of data. Use a date range of at least several weeks, such as Last month.
Every user appears in the report, including admins and content creators. Deselect them before downloading a CSV.
CSV downloads include only the reps you select. Print always includes the full report.
Turn on Background graphics in your browser’s print settings to include trend lines in printouts.
Your existing analytics reports are unchanged. The Adoption Report is an addition.
If Adoption doesn’t appear under Analytics, the feature hasn’t been activated for your company. This isn’t a permissions issue. Contact Ingage Support to have it turned on.
FAQ
Why don’t I see Adoption under Analytics? The Adoption Report needs to be activated for your company. Contact Ingage Support and we’ll turn it on.
Does the report count sessions or presentation views? Sessions. Every number in the report is a count of presenting sessions.
What does “trending down” mean? The rep’s activity has dropped over the weeks in your date range. For example, a rep who ran several sessions in week 1 and fewer each week after is trending down.
What does “need a nudge” include? Reps who are trending down plus reps with zero activity.
Why are some team cards empty? A card stays empty when there’s nothing to call out, such as no change from the previous period. This keeps the report easy to scan.
What date range should I use? Start with Last month. Several weeks of data gives you averages, high and low weeks, and trends. A single week won’t show a trend.
When does the weekly email arrive, and who can receive it? The email arrives every Sunday morning. A company admin chooses recipients under Manage Company > Analytics > Adoption Analytics email.
Why are my admins showing zero activity? The report includes every user, including admins and content creators who rarely present. Their low activity usually isn’t a concern. Deselect them when you download a CSV.
Why don’t the trend lines show up when I print? Turn on Background graphics in your browser’s print settings. In Chrome, it’s under More settings.
Does printing include only the reps I selected? No. Print always includes the full report. To export specific reps, select them and download a CSV.
