Ingage Analytics gives you powerful visibility into how your team uses your presentations, but sometimes you need to take that data outside of the Teams Console — whether it's to share in a team meeting, analyze in a spreadsheet, or include in a coaching session. You can export any analytics report as either a PDF or a CSV, and you can also save reports for quick access later.
Understanding Export Formats: PDF vs. CSV
Every analytics report in Ingage can be exported in two formats, each suited for a different purpose:
PDF — Produces an exact visual copy of the report as it appears on screen. This is ideal for sharing in meetings, attaching to emails, or including in a presentation for your sales team to review. What you see on screen is what you get in the file.
CSV — Exports the raw data in a spreadsheet-friendly format that opens in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools. This is best when you want to sort, filter, or perform additional analysis on the data beyond what the Teams Console offers.
How to Export a Report
The export process is the same across all analytics report types — Sessions, Users, Compare, and Content:
Navigate to the Teams Console by clicking Manage in the left sidebar of the Ingage app, or visit teams.ingage.io
In the left sidebar, expand Analytics and click into the report you'd like to export (Sessions, Users, Compare, or Content)
Apply any filters you'd like — such as date range, team, specific users, or tags — to narrow the data to exactly what you need
Click the three-dot menu (to the right of the filters)
Select CSV or PDF from the dropdown
Save the file to your computer
Tip: You can also drill into detail views (like a specific session or a page-level breakdown within the Compare report) and export from there. The export will capture whatever level of detail you're currently viewing.
Popular Reports to Export
While every report can be exported, here are the views customers find most useful:
User Report
The User report shows which team members are actively using Ingage, how many sessions they've had, and their average session duration. Exporting this as a PDF for a specific month gives you a clean snapshot of team adoption you can share with leadership or review in a sales meeting.
Compare Report
The Compare report is especially valuable for coaching. Select a presentation, choose specific users, and the report shows a side-by-side comparison of how each person is using the content — which pages they're spending time on and which they're skipping. Exporting this as a PDF gives you a visual coaching tool you can use to discuss what top performers are doing differently. You can even drill into each presentation's page-level breakdown before exporting to see exactly where each rep is spending their time.
Content Report
The Content report shows which presentations are being used most often and for how long. Filter by a specific team (e.g., your Texas region) and a set of users to see what content is getting the most traction in the field. This is useful for understanding which presentations are resonating and which might need attention.
Session Report
The Session report gives you a chronological list of all presentation sessions. Export this as a CSV when you want to do deeper analysis in a spreadsheet — like calculating average session duration across a time period or identifying patterns in usage by day of the week.
Saving Reports for Quick Access
If you find yourself running the same filtered report regularly (e.g., a monthly content usage report for a specific team), you can save it to avoid setting up the filters each time:
Set up your report with the filters you want
Click the three-dot menu
Select Save Report
Give the report a descriptive name (e.g., Content Views - Texas Monthly)
Click Create to save
To access your saved reports later, expand Analytics in the left sidebar and click Saved Reports. From there, you can view, edit, or delete any saved report — and of course, export it using the same three-dot menu.
Pro Tip: Use Exports in Your Sales Meetings
Many Ingage customers take their exported PDF reports and add them directly into an Ingage presentation for their weekly or monthly sales meetings. This creates a natural discussion point where managers can review team activity, highlight top performers, and have productive conversations about which content pages are being used, which are being skipped, and why. It's a great way to drive adoption and continuous improvement using your own data.
Things to Know
Exports capture exactly the data and filters you have applied at the time of export
PDF exports preserve the visual layout of the report; CSV exports provide raw data for spreadsheet analysis
Analytics are visible to Admins and Analysts in the Teams Console
