When building out a presentation, you may need to add several pages at once — whether you're starting from scratch or expanding an existing presentation with new content. Instead of adding pages one at a time, you can use keyboard shortcuts to select multiple page templates and add them all in a single step.
Adding a Single Page (Default Behavior)
By default, the page picker allows you to select one page at a time:
From the Storyboard, click the green + (plus) button in any section to open the page picker
Browse the available Page Layouts or select a Template Pack from the left sidebar
Click on the page you'd like to add
Click the green Add Page(s) button in the upper right corner
This works well when you only need one page, but it can be time-consuming if you need to add several.
Selecting Multiple Pages
To add multiple pages at once, use keyboard shortcuts while in the page picker:
Select a Range of Pages (Shift + Click)
To select a block of consecutive pages:
Click the first page in the range you'd like to add
Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard
Click the last page in the range
All pages between your first and last selection will be highlighted
Select Individual Pages (Command/Ctrl + Click)
To pick specific pages that aren't next to each other:
Click the first page you'd like to add
Hold down Command (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows)
Click each additional page you'd like to include
Each page you click will be added to your selection individually
Tip: You can combine both methods — use Shift + Click to grab a block, then hold Command/Ctrl to add or remove individual pages from your selection.
Adding Your Selected Pages
Once you've selected all the pages you need:
Click the green Add Page(s) button in the upper right corner
All of your selected pages will be added to the presentation at once
The pages will appear in your Storyboard in the section where you clicked the + button. From there, you can drag and drop pages to reorder them or move them to different sections as needed.
Things to Know
Multi-select works with both Page Layouts and Template Pages from installed Template Packs
There is no limit to how many pages you can select at once
This feature is available on the Desktop app (Mac and Windows)
