Link to another presentation within your team by adding an Open Presentation button to any page

The Open Presentation button allows you to link from one presentation to another, enabling your audience to seamlessly navigate between related content. When tapped or clicked during a presentation, the button opens a secondary presentation directly within the app.

Important: The Open Presentation action will only display presentations that exist within the same team you are currently working in. If you don't see the presentation you're looking for, confirm that it has been added to your team.

How to Add an Open Presentation Button

  1. Locate your presentation and enter Edit mode

  2. Navigate to the page where you'd like to add the Open Presentation button

  3. Click the + (plus) button in the upper right corner to open the Component menu

  4. Select Button from the Component menu

  5. Choose the Open Presentation action from the expanded menu

  6. Position the button anywhere you'd like on the page by dragging it into place

  7. In the Action Panel, click Choose Presentation

  8. Select the presentation you'd like to link to from the list of available presentations in your team

  9. Click Done

Testing Your Open Presentation Button

After adding the button, it's a good idea to verify that it works correctly:

  1. Click the Play button in the upper right corner to preview your presentation

  2. Navigate to the page where you added the Open Presentation button

  3. Tap or click the button to confirm that it opens the linked presentation

Things to Know

  • The Open Presentation picker only shows presentations within your current team. If the presentation you want to link to is in a different team, it will need to be added to or shared with your current team first.

  • You can add multiple Open Presentation buttons on a single page to link to different presentations, creating a "choose your own adventure" experience for your audience.

  • Open Presentation buttons can also be added by applying the Open Presentation Action to existing components like images, shapes, or text. For more details, see the Action Guide.
