Managing Channel Partner Subscriptions in the Content Hub

Channel Partner Subscriptions let manufacturers and other channel partners control who receives their presentations in the Ingage Content Hub.

Why Use Channel Partner Subscriptions?

You Decide Who Gets Your Content

Gated listings require your approval before a dealer can add your presentations. For example, if your content is reserved for certified dealers, you can review each request and approve only the companies that qualify. Dealers no longer need promo codes to reach your content in the Content Hub.

You Can Change Access as Your Program Changes

You can revoke a dealer's access at any time. If a dealer drops certification levels after a slower sales year, you can revoke their previous certification access, explain why, and point them to the appropriate listing.

Your Changes Reach Every Subscriber

When you remove a presentation from a listing, Ingage removes it from every subscriber. If you stop distributing last year's catalog, pull it once and it's gone everywhere.

Step 1: Choose Who Approves Requests (Admin)

Ingage emails every user in your company who has permission to approve subscriptions. By default, that's all of your account Admins.

  1. Decide who on your team should review access requests.

  2. If all of your admins should receive requests, no action is needed.

  3. If you want only certain people to receive requests, or want non-admins (for example, your marketing team) to approve them, contact your Ingage Strategic Account Manager or Ingage Support with their names and email addresses.

  4. Ingage assigns them the Content Approver role. Approver accounts are free and do not add to your subscription cost.

Step 2: Review a New Access Request

When a dealer requests access to a gated listing, Ingage sends an email to your approvers.

  1. Open the email titled with the dealer's request (for example, "JD Windows has requested access to Overlook Windows").

  2. Click the link in the email. It takes you directly to the request in Ingage.

  3. Alternatively, sign in to Ingage, go to Manage, and select Published Content.

  4. Find your listing. Each listing shows how many companies are subscribed and how many requests are pending.

  5. Open the listing to see the requesting company and the user who made the request.

Step 3: Approve or Reject the Request

  1. To approve, click Approve. Access is granted immediately and the presentations are added to the dealer's account.

  2. To reject, click Reject, then choose a reason:

    • Select one of the standard reasons (for example, Account under review).

    • Or select Other and type a note explaining your decision.

  3. Confirm the rejection. Ingage emails the dealer with your reason.

  4. To see why a past request was rejected, click See why next to the rejected entry.

Step 4: Revoke a Dealer's Access

  1. Go to Manage > Published Content and open your listing.

  2. Find the dealer in the list of active subscribers.

  3. Click Revoke.

  4. Choose a standard reason or select Other and add a note (for example, "Your certification level has changed. Please request access to the Plus listing.").

  5. Confirm. Ingage removes the content from the dealer's account and emails them your reason.

The Dealer Experience

  • Dealers go to the Content Hub, click Add Library, and select Manufacturer Presentations.

  • They search for your company, open your listing and preview your presentations in view-only mode.

  • On a gated listing, they click Request Access. The listing then shows Request Pending until you respond.

  • When you approve, the presentations appear in the location the dealer chose during the request (by default, their Drafts).

  • When you reject or revoke, the dealer receives an email with your reason.

  • On a listing that isn't gated, dealers add your content immediately with no approval step. You still see each new subscriber in Published Content.

Viewing Your Subscribers

  1. Go to Manage > Published Content.

  2. Open a listing to see every request and its status: pending, active, rejected or revoked.

  3. Click See why on any rejected or revoked entry to view the reason you gave.

Key Details

  • Request history is kept permanently. History starts on November 9, 2026; activity from the old Marketplace does not carry over.

  • A rejected request cannot be reopened. The dealer must submit a new request.

  • Admins receive request emails by default. Contact Ingage Support to add non-admin Content Approvers or narrow who receives requests.

  • Removing a presentation from a listing removes it from every subscriber.

  • Self-service signup links still use promo codes for now. Keep sharing promo codes with dealers who sign up through a self-service link until Ingage announces the change.

  • Existing Marketplace links redirect to your listing in the Content Hub.

  • Questions or issues? Contact Ingage Support or your Strategic Account Manager.

FAQ

Q: What happened to the Marketplace?
The Content Hub replaces it. For a limited time, clicking Marketplace in Ingage shows a short video and step-by-step guide to finding the same content in the Content Hub.

Q: Who receives the email when a dealer requests access?
Every user in your company with permission to approve subscriptions. By default, that's all of your admins. Contact Ingage Support to change who receives these emails.

Q: Can someone who isn't an admin approve requests?
Yes. Ingage can assign the Content Approver role to anyone on your team. The account is free.

Q: I rejected a request by mistake. Can I approve it now?
No. Ask the dealer to submit a new request, then approve it.

Q: How do I contact the dealer before approving?
The request shows the requesting company and the user's email address. Reach out to them directly with any questions.

Q: What does the dealer see when I reject or revoke access?
They receive an email with the reason you selected or the note you wrote.

Q: Can I see who subscribed before the Content Hub launched?
No. Subscription history begins when the Content Hub launches on November 9, 2026.

Q: Do I need to approve dealers on a listing that isn't gated?
No. Dealers add ungated content immediately. You still see each subscriber in Published Content.

Q: Do dealers still need a promo code?
Not in the Content Hub. Dealers who sign up through a self-service signup link still need one until Ingage updates that process.

Q: Does Ingage approve requests on my behalf?
No. Only you know which dealers qualify for your program, so approvals stay with your team.
