Virtual Selling

Let's Get Digital: Setting Yourself Up for Successful Virtual Selling

Making the transition to virtual selling can be challenging, especially when you’re moving from a tried and true in-person sales process.

Our team at Ingage wants to give you the tools to make the transition as smooth as possible. Here are some tips for getting started:

  1. Set up a Zoom account: Zoom is a great screen sharing tool that works across platforms and on almost any device. Create an account and make sure your team has access.
  2. Set up your space for success: Make sure you have a good internet connection, a neutral background for your video calls, a good headset, and a quiet space from which to sell. Be sure to plan on video calls to mimic the in-person sales environment.
  3. Pick an online scheduling tool: Make sure your customers can schedule calls with you through a scheduling tool that integrates with Zoom. We recommend Calendly or the native meeting tool from your CRM. Add the scheduling link to your email, website, and marketing content to make it easy for your prospects and clients to schedule calls with your team.
  4. Learn how to share your screen: Practice sharing your screen from your iPad or computer. Then when you get on the call with your prospect, you’ll be able to smoothly share your sales presentation, just as if you were in the home.
  5. Get set up to sign contracts online: Set up a DocuSign account for your company so you can remotely send contracts to your customers and close the deal.

Once the structure is in place, all you need is a great presentation and your proven sales methodology to take your selling virtual!
