How to add users in bulk to multiple Teams

Use a CSV file to add multiple users to multiple Teams

You can add bulk users to a company using a CSV upload where the three columns are the first name, last name, and email address. You can also go directly into a Team and add users using the same method.

But what if you need to add users to multiple teams?

CSV Template

When adding users to a company, you can add an optional fourth column to your CSV file with a team name. If the team hasn’t yet been created, the process will create a team with that name and add the users to that team. This feature is available to Company Admins.

  1. Create a CSV file with first name, last name, email address, and team name as the four columns.

  2. In Teams > Users or Desktop > Manage > Users, click on the Manage Users Drop down and select Import.

  3. You can choose what Role to give the users in their Team. If your company account is configured for Guest Teams, you can also choose if these users should be Guest Users.
  4. Click on Choose File to select the CSV file from your computer, then Import to begin the process.

The Ingage Cloud will then read your CSV file and add users to the appropriate Teams. If the Team doesn’t exist, it will automatically create it for you.
